About Us
The moor farm was built in around 1800 and was formerly a Vierkanthof (courtyard farm building). Our comfortable farm is nestled in an idyllic and quiet, delightful and hilly landscape. This means that there is no traffic, no noise from the street, danger-free playing for children and a quiet and relaxed atmosphere for the parents. At present, we manage approximately 26 hectares of grassland and farmland.
The farm is a full time mixed operation with cattle and suckler cow breeding. Cows, calves, ponies, rabbits, cats, chickens etc. are waiting to be visited and stroked by guests of all ages! You can watch each and every stable and feeding visit and find out everything you want to know about the animals! You are free to join us in the stable or on the meadow.
Attractions at the farm * CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND: with trampoline, various swings, balancing beams, games hut, table tennis, large sandpit and pedal cars. * GAMES ROOM with lots of different games for leisure hours. * SWIMMING POOL with cover and enough sun loungers. * MOOR WALKING - feel the power of the moor. * HIKING AND FARMERS' GOLF- with wooden clubs and balls along luscious meadows and woods. A perfect holiday starts with delicious breakfast!
...because home-made simply tastes better...
Lean back and enjoy our ample breakfast buffet with most of the delicious products being home-made: freshly baked bread, jams, spreads, juices, bacon, overnight oats, crunchy muesli, fresh eggs, grandma's cake, fruit and vegetables from our garden depending on the season and fresh herbs from our herb garden for the tea. We buy the rest of the food from local suppliers.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy coffee and cake in our garden, have a chat with the other guests or your hosts and watch the kids play and romp around in nature. Simply relaxing!
