About Us
Welcome to our farm Bauernhof Kronsteiner (Zocherl)!
Our mountain farm is located in the nature park “Attersee-Traunsee” - on a sunny hillside at an altitude of 820 m. “This is heaven on Earth!” - That’s what our guests say about this tranquil place with its panoramic view of the Alps and Lake Attersee. Sunrise and sunset are often the most spectacular times of the day!
The network of hiking trails comprises our farm. Trails up to the mountain cabin Kreuzing-Alm, up the mountains Miglberg or Richtberg start right from our farmhouse. The famous observatory on top of the mountain Gahberg is only a 20 minutes’ walk. The pilgrimage route “Josefweg” (“Way of St Joseph”) runs past nearby (5 min’ from our farm).
We are partners of the nature park “Attersee-Traunsee”. As such, we’d like to give our guests an insight into our life and work and show them how we maintain our cultural landscape. Especially children love to feed the animals in the barn and pet cats and bunnies. You can savour and purchase milk, bread, eggs and fruit spirit right at the farm.
