About Us
A warm welcome to our farm Bachbauernhof!
Our heritage farm has been a working farm for more than 400 years. It’s set on the quiet Eastern shore of Lake Attersee. It’s only a short walk to our private beach at the lakeside.
Spend a beautiful day swimming in the lake, enjoy the sunset or have a nice evening around the barbecue or campfire.
The landing stage of the boat that cruises Lake Attersee is right next to it. Join a marvellous lake cruise!
You’re welcome to purchase meat from our farm for your barbecue. Our cattle spends more than half of the year outside on the pastures. There, they only eat the finest herbs with the extraordinary lake view as a backdrop.
It’s very nice to have breakfast underneath the large nut tree - with fresh bread and rolls delivered to your apartment and a fresh egg for breakfast from our happy hens. Savour our home-made cider and juices in our rustic wooden cabin in the garden.
Find a large playground and fun court right next to it. It will make children’s hearts leap for joy!
You can set out on numerous hikes and country walks in the nature park and dark sky park “Attersee-Traunsee”. Ideal for all ages! Cyclists will also find everything their hearts could possibly desire.
For diving enthusiasts we have a dry room where they can put all their equipment to dry.

Eggs, honey, cider, apple juice, pear juice, meat for barbecue and sausages depending on availability.
We offer our guests a daily delivery of fresh bread and rolls as well as a fridge filled with milk, yoghurt from local farmers and butter.
On our farm we focus on suckler cow husbandry. Our farm is also home to our miniature pigs “Kermet” and “Mrs Piggy”, a cock and its busy hens, runner ducks, rabbits that love to be petted and 7 bee hives.
