About Us
Get up with the chicken? Literally! On our farm, you can stay in a “chicken hotel”. The holiday house was renovated in 2019. All the furnishings are new. A place for a safe holiday!
We’re always looking forward to welcoming families on our farm. Kids find plenty of things to discover and explore. Have you ever collected your egg for breakfast right from the hen’s nest? No? Simply go down the stairs. On the ground floor, you’ll be welcomed by our feathery staff in their nests. Their happy cackling is contagious. Having started your day like this, there’s nothing more you need for a wonderful holiday.
Our philosophy: We, the people of the mountain valleys, love taking it easy. A hectic schedule is out of place. Living in harmony with nature and the particularities of Alpine valleys means, first and foremost, being patient, serene and persistent.
In a figurative sense: “The parent’s life is the book in which children read.”
Our organic farm is very child-friendly. Not least because we have two adorable children ourselves: little travel companions for your kids!
The Mölltal valley is one of the most beautiful and unique valleys in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Join us, enjoy our picturesque home and healthy food that we produce ourselves on our farm.
About Us
Our farm is located near the Mölltal glacier.
Other ski resorts such as Ankogel, Goldeck, Heiligenblut and Nassfeld are within less than 1 hours’ drive.
A small ski lift in Mühldorf is only 5 km from our farm.
Farm Products - Die Brunnerin
Small but mighty - these words seem to fit if you know Susanne’s private dairy. From the farm’s daily 500 litres of organic milk, only a small portion is processed on site. The rest is delivered to the local dairy “Kärntnermilch”.
Everything Susanne makes with her own hands is expected to be of highest quality. Mass production would contradict this conviction. Traditional production methods and handmade quality are Susanne’s trademark. She’s a dedicated dairywoman.
And that’s how she heats, stirs and pasteurises milk. White cheese, creamy curd cheese, yoghurt, camembert, mozzarella, burrata and (sometimes) fine butter.
If you’re lucky, you can even buy some of these culinary delights directly from the farm. However, Susanne mainly delivers her products to selected restaurants that put an emphasis on traditional Carinthian cuisine, for example “Herkuleshof” in Danielsberg and “Gasthof Scherzer” in Möllbrucke.

We also offer honey from the local beekeeper and butter made by a farmer and friend from the village.

A few years ago, we’ve decided to run our farm according to organic farming principles.
Our animals enjoy the welfare-oriented husbandry, especially being able to range freely from the beginning of May until the first snowflakes start to fall. Our cows provide us with the precious basic ingredient for cheesemaking: milk.
The young cattle spends the summer on our alpine pastures. In autumn, they return to our farm and give birth to their first calf.
We love our free-range chicken. Some of them explore the area throughout the day and go back to the barn for sleeping. You’re welcome to collect your egg for breakfast from the henhouse.
Our children take great care of the cats Schnurli, Blacky and Clooney.
