About Us
Surrounded by our animals, you’ll spend an interesting holiday on our farm. Animals to pet such as cats or guinea pigs make children’s eyes sparkle. Watching our alpacas graze next to the house is something very special. You can also book walks with them. Our cows with their calves also enrich our farm.
They spend summer on the nearby alpine pastures on the mountain Wöllaner Nock where you can also benefit from plenty of hiking trails. There are also pigs, ducks and chicken on our farm.
There’s a play area in the holiday apartment and in front of the historic farmhouse. Next to it, you can take in the beautiful panoramic views, bask in the sun or relax underneath our old linden tree.
Pure nature - a holiday at its best! Guests seeking outdoor activities and exercise will find a network of well signposted hiking and mountain biking trails running past the farm. Other options to go swimming, sailing, fishing or join a boat cruise are offered in the nearby villages at the lakes Ossiacher See, Afritzer See and Brennsee. Our mountain Gerlitze is a great place to go paragliding.
On the mountain Wöllaner Nock, there are two staffed mountain cabins from which you can easily access the mountain Kaiserburg featuring a flow trail leading to Bad Kleinkirchheim. What else could your heart possibly desire?
Carinthia has got a range of interesting attractions for adults and children. Since Arriach is the municipality at the very centre of Carinthia, our location is even more than central. Arriach and it’s surroundings offer a range of culinary delights, seasonal events and entertainment!
About Us
In winter, the nearby ski resort of Gerlitzen has a plethora of outdoor activities in store such as alpine skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing and tobogganing. There’s a ski school and ski rental service.
Bad Kleinkirchheim/St. Oswald, Falkert and Turracherhöhe (1 h) promise a diverse winter holiday.
Our alpacas are shorn once a year. The wool is processed and turned into woollen products in Salzburg. We offer them for sale in our alpaca farm shop. You can purchase great socks, beanies, scarfs and headbands with great design, insoles, blankets and diverse accessories. Have a try, you’ll be amazed!
I run a dairy farm and breed alpacas, an activity which I’d like to focus on in the future. I’ve grown very fond of the alpacas. At the moment, I have 9 of them. They are called Mariechen, Pocahontas, Stella, Lilly, Adonis, Piccasso, Casanova, Forrest Fernando and Orkan Hansi. Next to them, pigs are grunting, hens are cackling, ducks are running and cats are meowing on my farm. Particularly the cats love being petted and stroked. The guinea pigs also look forward to being fed. Gina, my dog, is very good-natured and devoted.
