About Us
Welcome to an unforgettable holiday where you’ll feel at home on our family farm MATLHOF!
Genuine hospitality starts upon arrival. We want you to feel at home from the moment we say hello until your departure. Our farm MATLHOF is located far away from the hustle and bustle and noisy streets. Situated near lakes and close to fantastic hiking trails, it’s the ideal starting point for all kinds of day trips. We have small and big animals (cattle, horses, a donkey, chicken, cats and a dog).
Children are the centre of our attention. We offer activities for kids of all ages: tractor rides, campfires, help in the barn, milk the cows with the farmer, romp and play on the playground (trampoline, table tennis, swings, sandpit and much more).
Ample breakfast buffet with products from our farm.
Comfortable living with wood and natural materials in the apartments. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you!
We care about the quality and the origins of the food we serve. That’s why we serve fresh milk from our cows that are milked twice a day, curd cheese, yoghurt, eggs, jams, home-made bread, smoked meat, fruit spirit, juices and much more.
Drinking water is sourced from our private spring!
Our farm is home to cows, calves, horses, a donkey, our dog Benny, chicken, cats ... all of them are looking forward to some tender loving care!
