About Us
Our farm is situated in rural surroundings between the town of Villach and beautiful Lake Faaker See. The comfortable holiday apartment are located in the farm house.
Anywhere on our family-run ORGANIC FARM, you’ll see our animals: horses, ponies, cows, calves, pigs, ducks, chicken, cats and a dog.
Plenty of space and freedom for children: campfire! Take the cows and horses out to pasture! Playground with playhouse, swings, slides, ... Pony riding or sitting on a vintage tractor! Private museum on the farm! The adults can relax on our cosy “farm loungers”. Some time off for you - fun for your children!
About Us
A winter fairy tale when snow has fallen... Children have fun building snowmen, tobogganing, sledding or pony riding through the snow.
The horses enjoy the winter pasture (quite a hassle trudging through the deep snow!), the cows their free-stall barn and the chicken their fenced area outside.
Comfortable holiday apartments, each one with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, one or two bedrooms, bathroom, toilet and a cosy balcony, invite you to relax and recover.
Nearby ski resorts guarantee fun in the snow (Gerlitze: 10 min., Nassfeld, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe: 50 min.) Mountains for day trips (Dobratsch and Monte Lussari: 20 min.)
Many guests simply enjoy the sun on a winter walk in the Gailtal Valley or try ice skating on frozen Lake Aichwaldsee.
Potatoes (different varieties), eggs, various types of fruit spirits (“schnaps”): Obstler (traditional type of fruit spirit), Austrian stone pine liqueur, raspberry spirit, walnut liqueur.
We sell our fruit spirits and brandies every Thursday evening (May to September) at the farmer’s market in Faak. Visit us there!
