About Us
Our farm is situated in the beautiful Mostviertel, in the small village of Oberndorf an der Melk.
The market village lies at 302m above sea level and offers plenty of opportunities for excursions. You can reach us in just 20 minutes after taking the motorway exit at Ybbs or Loosdorf.
True to its name Straussenblick, meaning "view of the ostriches", the apartment features a direct view of these South African flightless birds in their pen.
Our farm has all kinds of animals who enjoy being petted. These include chickens, rabbits, cats, cows, calves, and our goats Zieglinde and Toni.
For our younger guests, the lawn offers plenty of space to run around and play all kinds of games.
Our terrace with its view of the ostrich pen invites you to bring the evening to a close in comfort. The many excursions destinations in the area will ensure you enjoy an unforgettable and eventful holiday.
In our gourmet corner, you will find a range of delicacies that we make using the inside of the world's largest egg.
