Try meat products from small producers or have a glass of craft beer from one of the up and coming private breweries. Apple Cider Bucklige Welt - A Gourmet Region
The Bucklige Welt region in the Vienna Alps is one of around 100 Gourmet Regions in Austria. Here, the art of cider making has been passed down from one generation to the next for centuries. Made of fruit ripened in the sun, the cider has an especially delicate flavour. A lot of farmers do not only produce cider but also fruit juice, fruit spirit and brandy. The excellent sparkling apple wine “Unterm Apfelbaum” is also produced here, in the Bucklige Welt region.
