Immerse yourself in the cycle of our farm life, sense the differing qualities of the changing seasons. In winter you will experience the wonder of the birth of our lambs. With the onset of spring, the "flower sprinkled meadows" around the house will bring you out to explore the countryside, the warmth of the summer will tempt you up into the fresh alms and cool forests. The Styrian autumn offers plenty: pumpkins, wine, game, apples... all are there to be enjoyed in the Almenland nature reserve. The warm atmosphere in the 4 apartments and 6 rooms - a personal "labour of love" of host Hannes and his carpenters - is the perfect environment for healthy living. You will find wooden floors, distinctive solid wood furniture and discover many loving details. The sunny breakfast and fireplace room is a favourite place for a chat. About Us
The Styrian Almenland nature park around Teichalm and Sommeralm is Europe's largest alpine pasture area. Breathe in the country air, hike through alpine pastures during all seasons, find peace, Styrian food and drink in the region of culinary delights. Our hotel and sheep farm lies on the edge of town amidst pastures and meadows with distant views of the snowy Almenland. You stay in the elegant country house ambience of the Almenland - rooms - we are a non-smoking farm! The interior furnishings, planned with much time and care and crafted from old timber, conveys a personal, home atmosphere. For the winter time, we are pleased to offer: "Content, wooly winter days in the Almenland nature park" "Fantasy trip with pony Laureen" day care with ponies and many newborn lambs will delight your children. Riding lessons with small horses are offered by our business partner "Pferdehof Stockner". Indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, nearby. Your home to enjoy, relax, read, cuddle, . . .
