About Us
The chalet "Bachler" once was a managed mountain farm. Our cows, which we care for every second day, live in the stable next to the homestead. The farmstead has been renovated with care and newly fitted out. In the upper storey there are two nice dwelling units, which can be used singly, or in the case of a larger group, rented communally. It is a real jewel for people looking for quiet surroundings. In summer there are possibilities to start hikes directly from the chalet, across the whole of the "Koralm". In winter there is a cross-country ski run extending into the Steiermark. Alternatively, just enjoy the magnificent views and the sun from the balcony.
Situation: On a plateau with uninterrupted views on the valley and further to the Karawanks
Approach: Tarred road for a distance of 10 km from St. Georgen in the Lavant Valley and c. 1 km of gravel road
Equipment: Newly renovated former mountain farmstead with two dwelling units isolated from each other, with each offering the following: fully equipped kitchen/living room electric oven, dishwasher, hot water, fridge, freezing compartment, coffee maker, couch, eating and sitting nooks, central heating, heating stove, Sat-TV. 1 bedroom with double bed, 2 sleeping places in the living room (sleeper couch); travel cot or extra bed available; bathroom with shower, separate WC. Electric power, solar heating. Balcony with phantastic view. Fenced hutyard, living room suite, grill. Carport. Snowshoes for the winter outing.
