About Us
Our mountain lodge was newly built in 2018 and lies at 1150m above sea level, surrounded by a divine mountain and alpine panorama in the heart of the Katschtal region, far away from everyday stress, noise and hustle and bustle.
The lodge offers you a large kitchen, dining and living area, two toilets, bathroom and three bedrooms.
In the outdoor area, there is a terrace with separate fire pit for ending mild evenings in comfort, along with the outdoor sauna.
On the terrace, which can be accessed directly from the living-dining area, you can enjoy your breakfast with the morning sun and wonderful view.
If desired, you can directly acquire your food from the direct sellers at the neighbouring farm.
The entrance to the lodge can be reached by car all year round.

Regional specialities from the direct seller "Speckbauer" can be purchased directly at the farm shop, located 500m away.
The farming shop in Murau also looks forward to your visit.
We run an agricultural operation with beef fattening at our home farm, commonly known as "Bräuer".
Our heifers spend their summer around the Wiedhupfhütte lodge.
