About Us
The mountain cabin “Auszeit-Almhaus” is perched on a hillside above the picturesque Lavanttal valley, at an altitude of 1,100 m. The idyllic spot next to the scenic drive up the Saualpe and the pilgrimage route “Marienpilgerweg” allows relaxation seekers and nature lovers to leave their everyday lives behind. The cabin for self-catering holidays is completely new. It was constructed with great care and an emphasis on using healthy natural materials (untreated spruce and larch wood). The entrance is fully accessible, featuring a ramp. A large sunny terrace and a nice (automatic) pellet stove with glass front bring comfort and warmth to the rooms in every season.
There’s also a charging station for e-bikes and EVs. The garden comes with a large lawn for sunbathing and spots in the shade, a herb and stone garden as well as several energising places in the immediate vicinity. The cabin is a great starting point for hikes, country walks and cycling tours for all levels. It’s also a beautiful spot for observing nature.
About Us
You can book the mountain cabin “Auszeit Almhaus” at any time of the year. The pellet stove with glass front brings comfort and warmth to the house. There’s infrared and floor heating in the bathroom.
While the valley has disappeared under a blanket of fog, you can feel the first rays of sunshine caressing your skin on the terrace.
