About Us
Our Unterbichl Organic Farm lies in Flachau, in a small community known as Reitdorf, on a hill that enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
The garden offers lots of space for children. Whether playing out in the green meadows, jumping on the trampoline or, in winter, building a snowman, the youngsters have ample opportunity to work off some of their excess energy. Whilst the children are enjoying an unforgettable farm holiday, their parents can look forward to peaceful relaxation sitting out on the balcony or sunny terrace.
Animal lovers, this is for you: Cows and calves, dwarf goats and cats are some of the many animals waiting for you at our farm.
SUMMER:
Close by, you will discover three swimming lakes that are in quick, easy reach either by bike or car. Our farm is also surrounded by numerous bike- and footpaths as well as forest pathways, all of which treat you to beautiful views of the valley.
The cows spend their summer on our own alpine grazing area in Flachauwinkl, which explains why you won’t bump into them here at the farm itself. Notwithstanding, our small guests will still discover many cute animals here that simply love to be stroked, petted and pampered.
WINTER:
Wake up gazing out at the ski area, here at the Unterbichlgut in Flachau, in the small community of Reitdorf. Located only a few minutes’ drive away is one of the three lift stations in Flachau. The ski bus also stops right at the entrance to the driveway up to our farm.
The SnowSpace Salzburg ski area greets you with over 200 kilometers of perfectly groomed pistes and boundless skiing enjoyment.

Regional and irresistibly delicious
We currently supply Salzburg Milch with our cows.
This produces delicious dairy products that you can find in many shops under the Besser Bio brand. Of course, our milk "freshly tapped" from the cow cannot be compared with any packer milk from the shop and so you are welcome to try a lukewarm freshly milked cow's milk in the barn or on the mountain pasture... :-)
We operate an organic farm with cows, calves and calf breeding. Our animals spend their days in a newly constructed open-pen barn. As soon as it is born, every calf is given its own name. Also living on our farm are three cats (Gina, Lucy and Atlas), dwarf rabbits (Sunny, Bunny, Honey....), our three dwarf goats Gitta, Gustl and daughter Gundi, as well as the two alpine Steinschaf sheep, Gerti and Gretl.
