About Us

Our family-friendly farm enjoys a sunny, quiet location right next to the ski lift. We offer our guests three holiday apartments with lots of wood and rural style. From the balcony, you can delight in the beautiful far-reaching views over the Walsertal valley between Feldkirch and Bludenz (called Walgau). Organic farm produce is also provided.

We are happy to offer for sale directly from the farm at Berghof Latzer:

Organic free-range eggs
Alpine butter (in summer)
Alpine cheese (in summer)

In the local grocery store in the center of Frastanz you can get all other groceries as well as things for your daily needs.

The Berghof Latzer is run as a mother-cow keeping, agricultural family business. Animals to watch all year round are

mother cows and their calves
and their young cattle
the egg-laying flock of chickens
rabbits and the farm cat

The rabbits can be fed, the cattle can be observed from the outside and in the field. At feeding time in winter you can help directly in the barn.

A part of the cattle herd spends the summer on surrounding mountain pastures: Alpe Nenzinger Berg, Alpe Furkla and Alpe Parpfiens. Beautifully situated among others under the Mondspitze in the Brandnertal, a hike there is recommended.
