Lias am Berg

Feel nature on our farm. Breathe deeply and find peace amidst fields and forests.

From our mountain farm Lias am Berg you have a wonderful view of the hilly, snow covered landscape of the Mühlviertel region.

There is much to experience for our little guests, apart from the many winter activities: Work on the farm, pet rabbits and cats, cows, calves, and the dog Tina. The two alpacas MOMO and BORIS love going for a walk or getting a visit in their barn.

In the family-oriented skiing area of Sandl, at an altitude of 927 m, which is at a distance of approx. 15 km, you can learn to ski and improve your technique. The Viehberg lifts (1,112 m) are an insider's tip for all families with children. 3 drag lifts transport winter sports enthusiasts up the Viehberg, where family-friendly pistes invite you to ski down.

In Leopoldschlag there is a lake which is perfect for curling and ice skating. A special attraction is also going for a walk through the snowy winter landscape. It's a lot of fun to go tobogganing down the local hillside on an old toboggan. 

For cross-country skiers there are trails straight from the farm. In the Freiwald cross-country skiing paradise up to 178 km of prepared trails, depending on snow conditions, await fun-seekers and professionals.

We pamper our guests with a gourmet breakfast featuring delicacies from our farm: curd cheese, fresh herbs, eggs, muesli, jams, home-made pastries and much more.

Guests on our farm will find:

• Spacious comfort room "Abendsonne" (Evening Sun) with terrace, access to the garden and fantastic view, couch, bath and WC separate, satellite TV, radio, internet access.
• Comfort room "Morgensonne" (Morning Sun) with terrace and access to the garden, couch, bathroom/WC, satellite TV, radio, internet access.

Since both rooms are located next to each other in a separate part of the farm, they can be booked in combination with a living room (apartment for 1-5 people).
