About Us
Our Brandgut mountain farm is located at 1140 metres above sea level on the south side and is surrounded by meadows and a beautiful mountain panorama. The single-lane goods road ends at our farm, so there is no through traffic and a quiet and safe environment for children to play in.
Our farm is home to 6 organic mother cows with their calves, organic chickens, rabbits, goats and 2 cats.
Our holiday flat is on the ground floor of the farmhouse and therefore also has its own small garden with terrace. Here you can enjoy the evenings in summer while the children play on the farm.
In summer the Hochkönig Card is included for our guests and offers many possibilities. The two outdoor pools in the Hochkönig region, the hiking bus and all the mountain railways in the Hochkönig region. Mühlbach has incredibly beautiful alpine pastures and offers hiking opportunities from toddlers (Tonis Almspielplatz) to climbing pros (Hochkönigmassiv/Torsäule).
In winter, the Hochkönig ski area offers great pistes with even better huts and a fantastic panorama. We recommend the Hochkeil natural snow paradise to all nature-loving skiers. It is only 4 km away from our farm.

About Us
The Brandgut mountain farm can also be reached by car in winter.
The holiday apartment is heated by central heating.
The wood-burning stove in the living room can also be used.
Watching the fire from the sofa is very relaxing and is simply part of a winter holiday.
Thanks to the all-round location of the Brandgut mountain farm, children can play in the snow and let off steam.
Tobogganing with friends and/or the whole family is great fun. Wooden toboggans can be borrowed from the farm.
An unforgettable experience is a ski tour from the Almhütte Brandgut to the Hochkeil in the early hours of the morning. This unique experience is rewarded with a marvellous view at the summit.
The mountain village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig captivates with its impressive mountain panorama of the Mandlwände and the Hochkönig massif.
The perfectly groomed ski pistes and constantly maintained ski lifts make skiing a real treat.
The Hochkönig mountain lifts are part of the Salzburg Ski Amadé ski association.
Cross-country skiing, snow (boot) hiking, tobogganing, horse-drawn carriage rides and ski touring also offer unforgettable experiences against the fantastic backdrop of the majestic Hochkönig massif.
