This is how the history of the Brandhof began. Until the Brandhof and the associated Brandalm am Dachstein, now managed by the third generation, has become a true gem for those seeking peace and nature lovers. You can feel the close family ties between nature, forest and agriculture in our heart, the Brandhof headquarters, the Brandhof country house, which was renovated in 2020, as well as on the Brandalm. Lots of wood, loden & matching cotton materials in natural colors complement the 'feeling good' in our apartments with a view of our wonderful mountain panorama.

Vacation on the Dachstein - with us, guests should spend their vacation with all their senses and consciously go into themselves to recharge their batteries for everyday life afterwards. We have made it our goal to make your holiday at the Brandhof something special and certainly a unique experience for young and old. Surrounded by mountains, forests and meadows that have shaped our 'home' for centuries, our house is one perfect starting point for sport, peace and enjoyment of nature in the country, for the whole family.

In addition to all the exciting farm experiences, with the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card we offer our guests a varied range of leisure activities with over 100 holiday attractions. In winter, the Brandhof stands out from others with its top location in the family ski area of ​​Ramsau am Dachstein. With a ski school and practice lift right next to our house, children of all ages can learn to ski in a playful way. The Ramsau has always had the reputation of being a cross-country skiing mecca in Austria and offers almost 220km of trails that also connect to our house. The advanced skier is practicing on the opposite Rittisberg & ski area amade.
