Enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet in one of the most beautiful places in the Kalkalpen National Park region - our sunny mountain ridge at 650 m above sea level - and experience beautiful, eventful and relaxing family holidays with plenty of space and freedom for the whole family in the midst of the beautiful natural idyll in the Prealps that form our national park.
Our 25 dairy cows and calves are waiting for you in their newly built animal welfare barn, as well as rooster "Hugo" and his busy flock of chickens, our cats "Speedy", "Lilly" and "Felix", the bunnies and of course our Haflinger mare "Nara" with mini Shetland pony "Loki".
There's plenty of fun and REALLY EXCITING experiences for young and old on our lovely mountain farm. So don't forget your rubber boots because farmer Gerald is happy to have lots of helping hands!

Treat yourself to a rich farmhouse buffet breakfast with many home-made products. Enjoy the many locally sourced delicacies twice a week with a delicious dinner from our farmhouse kitchen as well as a cold snack or a barbecue evening in fine weather.

To get your holiday off to a great start, we wake you up with an ample farmhouse buffet breakfast including everything you need:
the delicious milk from our cows, home-made curd cheese & yoghurt, eggs from our happy hens, organic honey from our neighbour, sausage & ham fresh from our butcher, home-smoked bacon, cheese & butter from our local dairy. Enjoy the fresh bread and rolls and homemade pastries at the weekends with wonderfully fragrant coffee and tea. Fresh vegetables from our garden, home-made fruit yoghurt, fruit salad and various cornflakes & mueslis are a must.
Twice a week (on Mondays & Tuesdays), you can enjoy culinary delights on request and for an extra charge:
- delicious dinner cooked in our farmhouse kitchen or, respectively,
- cold snacks or a barbecue evening if the weather permits
From a culinary point of view, you also have the choice between the local inn “Koglerhof”, which is only 400 metres away, or the numerous restaurants nearby.
Furthermore, a new and well-equipped guest kitchen, equipped with induction cooktop, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and electric kettle, is available to all our guests around the clock.
Don't forget your rubber boots, you're welcome to help!
...whether it’s feeding the cows and calves, fetching eggs from our happy hens, feeding and stroking the bunnies or watching and helping with the milking - there's always something going on when we go out to the barn together in the evening. Of course, our cats "Felix", "Lilly" & "Speedy" also get plenty of cuddles.
If there is still time left after your work is done, our Haflinger mare "Nara" is looking forward to a few guided rides with our guest children (aged 3 and over).
A very special highlight for the little ones (and grown-ups too): the tractor ride-along during silaging and haymaking.
You can be there everywhere, watch and, of course, lend a hand!
We enjoy our farming work and see it as a privilege to be able to manage our farm and agriculture independently and autonomously on a daily basis. We really appreciate what our cows do and would like to share some of this with our guests.
There are so many questions and we are happy to answer them all:
How many litres of milk does a cow produce per day and what does it have to eat and drink every day? How is it milked and what happens to all the milk? How is a calf born? If you're lucky, you can even attend a birth and give the calf a name.
