Our family is deeply rooted in this beautiful region. Our farm, vineyard and wine tavern is perched in the rolling hills of eastern Styria, between the towns of Hartberg and Pöllau, right on the scenic drive “Roman Wine Road” (“Römerweinstraße”). A combination of agriculture, viticulture and a small wine tavern in its origins, our farm has grown into a successful family business over the past decades.

Pig farming, initiated by our grandfather, still forms the basis for the products we serve in our tavern. Together with their son Markus, a certified expert in viticulture and cellar master, Johannes and Margarethe cultivate the fields, vineyards and run the farm in a traditional way. The different areas form a harmonious blend of traditional and modern styles. Look forward to a cosy ambience where you’ll feel at home. Our non-smoking wine tavern is fully accessible. In addition to wines from our vineyards, we serve juices and fruit spirits, most of them produced on our farm. Home-made strudels, traditional fried pastries (“Strauben”) and other sweet delicacies as well as freshly baked bread are the icing on the cake.
