About Us
Enjoy a holiday like an angel in paradise at the foot of the mighty Grimming, in the beautiful Enns valley. Explore the wonderful world of mountains and lakes in summer, or in winter go skiing to your heart's content on the best maintained pistes in the Dachstein-Tauern region.

At Christerbauerhof three generations live under the same roof:
The "grandparents" on the farm are Fritz and Erni Schweiger. The "farmer family" consists of Georg and Christina with their children, Tobias, Carolina, Julia and the dog Barney.
We run our farm as a green country business, with approx. 28 dairy cows, who spend the whole year at the farm. We raise our calves ourselves, and as young cows they go to an alm in the Donnersbach forest.
Our farm has been awarded 4 flowers by the national association for holiday on a farm.
We provide bed linen and towels free of charge.
Austrian hotel contract requirements serve as our legal basis.
About Us
In winter, enjoy fun evenings on our own illuminated curling alley or breathe in the wonderful winter air during a fast toboggan ride behind our house - it's what children's dreams are made of! Curling equipment and sledges available.
For children and the young at heart, there is also a variety of other activities: build snowmen or snow castles, clear the farmyard with the pedal tractor and snow plough, bobsleighing, sliding on plastic boards...
In addition to cows, calves and chickens, there are also cats and the dog Barney on our farm.
We are right there, at the Ski Amadé region:
Easy drive to the ski resorts, no need for snow chains.
You can get to the 4-mountain interconnected ski area Planai, Hochwurzen, Hauser Kaibling and Reiteralm in just 15 minutes. Together with the family ski regions of Galsterbergalm, Fageralm, Stoderzinken and Ramsau am Dachstein, they make up one of the biggest ski centres in Austria - the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Enjoy 167 km of excellent slopes, 81 cable cars that take you swiftly up the mountain and over 40 cosy cabins. The most modern snow-making equipment as well as the Dachstein glacier guarantee snow and fun skiing from early winter to Easter.
Schladming is a venue for the 2013 Alpine Ski World Championship.
Every ski mountain shows off its best side - but they all have one thing in common: they offer the best slopes, modern cable cars and lifts, culinary delicacies at 49 ski cabins, offers for kids and families, sports enthusiasts and bon vivants - i.e. pure skiing enjoyment and winter fun.
In addition, the natural toboggan runs at Hochwurzen (7 km) and Galsterbergalm (6 km) are lit up by floodlights in the evening and ensure a fun-packed winter holiday.
There are also guided snowshoe hikes in Sölktal and the Grimming mountainous region.
