About Us
Arriving: The alpine pasture is only accessible by foot - we have no cars or the like ... 45 minutes from Rofan mountain railway station - a family friendly hiking route. Starting point at the valley station of the Rofan furnicular railway in Maurach on Lake Achen. Complimentary parking for the duration of your stay.
Facilities: There are 2 double rooms and many multi-bed rooms with a storehouse character. Shower with hot water. Hand towels and bedclothes should be brought with you. Baggage transportation possible if you are here for a longer stay.
Meals: Menus with a rustic character - soups, bacon and eggs, kaiserschmarren, sausages, light meals, cake, etc. Different meat dish every evening - meat is sourced from our own production and from that which we have hunted.
Rental period: Start of May (weekend of Mother's Day) until 1st November.
Prices:
B&B: 23 Euro
children to 4 years old: free
children 4 - 12 years old: 20 Euro
children 12 years +: 23 Euro
Miscellaneous: We run an alpine farm with dairy cows, pigs, sheep, rabbits ... Milk is brought down to the valley every day with a cargo cable car, after being processed in the chalet. Visits possible. We have our own power plant for our electricity needs.
