Welcome to Ballhaushof – the only Demeter farm in the Tyrolean Oberland. Nestled in the town center of Prutz at the entrance of the Kaunertal, our cozy apartments at Ballhausplatz offer the perfect comfort for your relaxing vacation.
Relax by the biotope, in the garden, or in the charming garden room. Free parking, a ski room with a boot dryer, as well as bicycle and motorcycle garage facilities are available. Electric cars can be charged free of charge directly on our premises.
Discover the diversity of the Tyrolean Oberland – a valley full of possibilities for relaxation and sports enthusiasts. With the complimentary Summercard Basic, you can experience numerous activities throughout the entire Tyrolean Oberland holiday region.

Welcome to Ballhaushof, your Demeter holiday farm in Tyrol!
Nestled in the center of Prutz, at the entrance of the Kaunertal, our organic farm resides in the heart of the Tyrolean Oberland winter sports region. Our newly designed apartments at Ballhausplatz offer lovingly furnished accommodations ensuring all comforts for a relaxing holiday.
The house provides free parking, a ski room with boot dryers, bicycle and motorcycle garage, and electric car charging on-site.
The finest ski areas in Tyrol are within easy reach:
- Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis (approx. 20 minutes)
- Fendels - Kaunertal (approx. 5 minutes)
The bus stop for the free ski bus is nearby, offering access to these family-friendly ski resorts. Furthermore, the Lineinbus provides connections to the two-country ski arena Nauders and the top ski destinations of Samnaun/Ischgl.
Our sustainable farming adheres to organic principles and strict Demeter guidelines. We take pride in our market garden, cultivating seasonal vegetables. Our focus is on biodiversity and rare varieties to deliver culinary delights of the highest quality. Additionally, we offer vegetable crates, and guests are welcome to indulge in our "Naschgarten" (snack garden), helping themselves to its delights.
Experience heartfelt encounters with our animal friends on our farm! Meet the charming Haflinger horses "Sweetheart" and "Stanko," as well as the alpine stone sheep ram "Hugo" and his herd, which graze in the summer pastures. Our diverse animal family also includes adorable rabbits, quails, goldfish, the lovable tortoise "Schildi," and our playful tomcat "Haspinger." Immerse yourself in the diversity and harmonious coexistence of our animals.
