About Us
Our farm is in a quiet, private location on the edge of the forest approximately 800 m from Lake Waller. Our "Dichtalm" cabin can be reached within 30 minutes by foot or by horse. The Dichtlhof is in the area surrounding Lake Waller in the Lake Country of Salzburg. It is in close proximity to the city of Salzburg, the Salzkammergut, and Berchtesgaden. The homestead has been in the family for over 200 years.
Herbs We grow a wide wide variety of herbs at our farm. We use these for homemade herbal teas and for their healing properties.
Bakery Baking bread with our own wheat for our guests and the "Dichtlalm". We adhere to organic farming methods at the Dichtlhof. We bake our own bread using wheat from our farm with recipes that have been passed down for generations. Interested guests are welcome to learn how to bake our bread.
Hunting Guests who are interested in hunting are welcome to join us during a hunt.

Bobsledding opportunities nearby. Enjoy beautiful walks in the winter landscape.

The variety of animals at our farm are a special experience for our large and small guests. Along with cows and pigs, our tomcat Leo also lives on the farm. Our happy chickens provide the eggs for breakfast every morning.
