About Us
The Almhütte Auszeit is the former bathhouse of the farm. Here is where the laundry was washed and personal hygiene was maintained. The original buildings were built around 1840 and expanded with small modifications to rent out. It is furnished with a double bed in the bed room and a bed couch in the living room to sleep in. The "Rauchkuchl" is still partially preserved. The house maintains its original character and invites guests to relax amidst its green surroundings.
Just beyond its doors, the private property offers hiking, sleighing and sledding. Sleighs are available to rent.
The farm is cultivated like before. We are an organic farm with cows, horses and chickens.
Located in the middle of nature, the holiday house is around 100 meters from the farm and is accessible by car up to 20 meters. They are both around 400 meters away from the main street where you can find the stop for the complimentary ski bus to the family ski area Riesneralm, another 5 km away. For cross-country skiers, there are 16 km cross-country ski trails. Snowshoes and sleighs are available upon request.
The Almhütte-Auszeit is heated with a wood-fired oven with hotplates. You will be given instructions on how to heat and feed oven yourself. The shower is equipped with an electrojet and electric water heater.
