About Us
Our farm is located on the edge of the town of Gaishorn between the Gesäuse and Rottenmanner Tauern, making it the ideal starting point for easy hikes on ancient mountain pastures, conquering peaks with the whole family or demanding climbing tours. From milking cows in the morning to cosy get-togethers in the evening, you can take part in the life of a functional farm that celebrates traditional festivals and events during the year and get to know the farming traditions of the region. Enjoy Lake Gaishorn (5 minutes away), fishing, cabin fun, guided climbing tours and walks, horseback riding, carriage rides and much more in summer. You and your children are welcome to help out in the stables, feeding the calves, milking the cows for the morning milk or groom the horses.
About Us
Winter at the Diwaldhof - snowball flights on the farm, build your own straw sack slide or snow castle, take the tractor lift to the top of our own toboggan run, stamp through the deep snow of the winter landscape, learn to ski in the nearby family-oriented ski region, cross-country skiing on the cross-country ski trail directly in front of the house and in the evening warm your cold feet in our sauna or in front of the tiled stove - that is winter at the Diwaldhof.
