About Us
Our "Gipfelstürmer" and "Alpenblick" Eckwaldhütten are situated 250m above the Leitengut holiday farm in Altenmarkt, directly on the edge of the forest with a wonderful view over the valley and the surrounding mountains.
Take a holiday far away from the noise of the streets and yet just a few minutes by car from the centre of Altenmarkt.
Our Eckwaldhütten have been completely renovated taking every detail into account and offer everything your heart could desire: a spacious, fully equipped kitchen-diner, two separate bedrooms, a bathroom, and a sun terrace with a breath-taking view.

About Us
Our "Gipfelstürmer" and "Alpenblick" Eckwaldhütten are situated 250m above the Leitengut holiday farm in Altenmarkt, directly on the edge of the forest with a stunning view over the valley and the surrounding mountains.
The holiday chalets are at the end of the village of Altenmarkt (as you travel towards Zauchensee) and next to the 10-seater Hochbifang gondola lift that is part of the Amade ski resort. With the Fichtelwald it is a child's skiing paradise. The cross-country trails are also near our chalets and it is easy to reach the illuminated toboggan track on foot.

We offer our guests organic milk from our cows and free-range eggs from our happy hens.
We offer also daily bread service from our town bakery.
In the farmyard are cows and calves, goats (Emelie, Elisa and Emma), rabbits, ponies (Tinka and Tessa), hens, and a posse of cats just waiting to be stroked.
From around the middle of June to the middle of September, the cows and calves spend their summer holiday up on the alpine pastures.
