About Us
Our farm enjoys a sunny location on the outskirts of Mauterndorf, at the foot of the Fanningberg at 1122 m above sea level. Since we are so close to all of the ski resorts and hiking areas of the Lungau region and Obertauern, we are an ideal base for all of your recreational activities, both summer and winter.
As of summer 2016, we began to offer two brand-new holiday apartments! Both of the apartments are approximately 60 m² in area, in each case featuring two double rooms, a bathroom along with a fully equipped combination living room and kitchen. You will also be able to take advantage of cable TV as well as free Wi-Fi access!
In addition to a pleasant terrace where you can make yourself comfortable and relax, our garden also provides a green setting to grill and play. During the winter, you will have all the space you need for your snowball fights and to build the perfect snowman.
Regardless of what time of year you choose to visit us, you are always guaranteed to enjoy an authentic farmhouse experience!

In summer, when our young cattle are allowed to graze the high pastures and the dairy cows are let out on the meadow every day, we turn part of the milk they produce into butter, yogurt and cottage cheeses.
The main focus of our organically operated farm is dairy production and raising beef. Our animals are kept in species-appropriate open cattle sheds. Bustling side by side on our farm in addition to cows and calves are pigs (in summer), ponies, cats, rabbits and hens.
We are able to cover most of our energy needs thanks to firewood from our own forest as well as our farm’s own photovoltaic system.
Since we are a typical mixed operation, cultivation of grain as well as potatoes – the famous Lungau Eachtling – also plays an important role. Our fruit orchard, where we grow traditional Lungau apple varieties, pairs, plums and cherries, invites guests to snack to their heart’s content. Various herbs and vegetables grow in our farmhouse garden.
