Relax and Unwind
Clean mountain air, silence and an idyllic setting - back to nature! Our farm “Lamprechtbauer” is set high above the village of Mauthen, right next to the mountain pass Plöckenpass. Take in picturesque views of the valley from this ideal starting point for hikes in the Carnic Alps. It’s an energising place that comes with the arguably most beautiful view of the lower Lesachtal valley and the upper Gailtal valley.
We serve traditional Carinthian cuisine based on ingredients sourced from our own agricultural production and other producers in the Gailtal and Lesachtal valleys. From “Gailtaler Almkäse”, cheese from the alpine pastures in the Gailtal valley, to home-made bacon and locally sourced venison.
At our farm, you can leave the stresses and strains of everyday life behind and unwind surrounded by pristine nature!

We try to pass a piece of our living quality on to our guests. Our producers who share a sense of traditional values, honest products and old knowledge with us help us do that.
For us, treating nature with respect is a matter of course.

Our farm is home to cows, a pig and a hen. We are happy to show you around our farm and show you where the animals live.
