We warmly welcome you to the “Gestehof”! Our quiet location in the middle of nature with plenty of freedom of movement offers you the right place to arrive, switch off and enjoy! It is enduring in the heart of the Mostviertel between Salzburg and Vienna.
With a delicious breakfast with homemade delicacies and specialities from the region you start the day strengthened. Let the warm rays of sunshine shine in your face while cycling, hiking, walking or just relaxing.
Many
beautiful places in our garden invite you to linger & recharge your batteries. Take your time and watch the hustle and bustle around our natural biotope, slowly perceive the scent of autumn and watch the animals as you already collect supplies for the cold season.
- In spring: The wonder world of pear trees and apple blossoms.
- In summer: The "Haager Theatersommer" (Haag Theatre Summer), bathing lake and water parks nearby
- In autumn: Harvest time in the Must Quarter.
- In winter for all cross-country skiing enthusiasts: Marked cross-country ski trail (15 km long) direct access at Gestehof, plus Forsteralm ski area 37 km (45 minutes) from Gestehof.

Our quiet location in the middle of nature with plenty of freedom of movement offers you the right place to arrive, switch off and enjoy! It is enduring in the heart of the Mostviertel between Salzburg and Vienna. With a delicious breakfast with homemade delicacies you start the day strengthened.
On an excursion to the many sights, you will get to know our region and discover the diversity of the Mostviertel.
For our guests who want to experience the gentle winter sportingly, there is a tracked cross-country skiing with dirkte entrance at the Gestehof, as well as some ski areas in the area.
After a final long walk through the slightly sugary winter landscape, enjoy a hot cup of tea before going to bed tired but happy.
