About Us
Our Hacklbauer anscestral farm is situated in a sunny location on the edge of the forest and is a real holiday paradise for families and nature-lovers. The secluded location away from the main road is perfect for families with children. The farm is surrounded by wide, open fields with colourful blooming flowers and lots of farm animals.
The rustic, country-house style of our high-quality furnished apartments will make you feel right at home. Each apartment consists of 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower/WC, 1 living room / kitchen and offers private infra-red sauna, balcony, satellite TV, radio and internet access.
Families in particular can enjoy an exciting day outdoors on the farm. A large children's playground, a barbecue area and a variety of farm activities plus the friendly atmosphere promise an unforgettable farm holiday.
Our Hacklbauer makes an ideal base for all sorts of activities. In Summer you can start walks from the farm itself and in Winter the well-groomed Tauern cross country ski trail leads directly past. The nearby ski area of Altenmarkt-Radstadt and the World Cup ski sloaps in Zauchensee are all easily and quickly accessible.

About Us
Our Hacklbauer anscestral farm is situated in a sunny location on the edge of the forest and is a real holiday paradise for families and nature-lovers.
- We are right by the Tauern- and Olympia cross-country ski runs,
- amidst Salzburg's Amade sports world
- You can easily reach other ski regions such as Flachau, Obertauern and Schladming by car in 15 minutes
- You can also comfortably explore the beautiful surrounding area via the winter hiking trails
- or have an enjoyable sleigh ride.
Those looking to see out the evening in a sporty manner can try out our toboggan run. Or just simply enjoy the evening in your cosy apartment and relax in your own infrared sauna. Here with us on the farm in winter, children can run around to their heart's content or play around the farmyard on a bobsleigh or snow slider or simply build a snowman.

The Hacklbauer is a grassland farm with dairy cattle. At the moment we have 16 cows, 6 female calves and 6 male calves on the farm. In summer the calves are up on the mountain pastures in Zauchensee. The dairy cows graze in the meadows at home.
Kids just love the rabbits, cats and ponies running around our farm. In the hen house there's lots of feathered friends too. The hens provide us with fresh eggs and the ducks help us chase the snails away. We seek to live with in harmony with, to cherish and preserve nature for our descendants. In this way we can offer our guests a healthy, well-cared for, natural surroundings for their holiday.
