For couples and families with children of all ages, the Haldenhof offers a successful blend of peace, comfort and rural experience. We - Theresa and Daniel Geiger - continue to maintain the hospitality of our parents and parents-in-law, which has been practiced for many years, and have accommodated two bright and modernly furnished vacation apartments in the new farmhouse built in 2013. Including a playroom for your kids on the top floor.
With its landscape, culture and architecture, the Bregenzerwald is a World Heritage Site and is particularly attractive in summer. Leisurely walks or bike rides along the Bregenzerache, sporty mountain bike or racing bike tours or hikes of all levels of difficulty in the beautiful mountain world of the Bregenzerwald and the surrounding area.
In summer you will also receive the Bregenzerwald Guest Card from us for three or more overnight stays, with which you can use all mountain railroads, outdoor swimming pools and local public transport to the cities of Dornbirn and Bregenz free of charge.

We - Theresa and Daniel Geiger - continue to maintain the hospitality of our parents and parents-in-law, which has been practiced for many years, and have accommodated two bright and modernly furnished vacation apartments in the new farmhouse built in 2013. With the ski bus, which stops just a few steps away from the house, you can quickly and easily reach the Diedamskopf family ski area, which at over 2,000 meters above sea level offers guaranteed snow, 40 kilometers of slopes in all levels of difficulty, modern mountain railroads and fantastic viewpoints.
Thanks to its central location, you can also reach the ski areas of Salober-Warth, Damüls-Mellau - the largest interconnected ski area in the Bregenzerwald - and Lech am Arlberg in just a few minutes by public transport.
With well-signposted winter hiking and walking trails, toboggan runs, snowshoe trails and cross-country ski trails stretching across Au-Schoppernau, you will experience a unique winter time in the Bregenzerwald in Vorarlberg (A). The horse-drawn sleigh rides in the village offer a pure and unforgettable winter experience.

In winter, you can experience the stable work up close in the stable: Watering calves, milking cows or grooming ponies.
In the summer, the dairy cows are on our Alpe Sattelegg, where we would like to invite our guests to look over the dairyman Werner´s shoulder as he makes traditional alpine cheese and where you will learn a lot from him about alpine farming and the mountains of the Bregenzerwald.
