Halterhütte

The mountain cabin "Halterhütte" was renovated in 2020 above the former barn. It is sheltered from the wind in a hollow next to the managed Geiger Hut.

The 65 m² apartment has been lovingly furnished with furniture made from the old wood of the “old” mountain cabin "Halterhütte".

The cabin is equipped with a bathroom and WC, 2 bedrooms, a balcony, a living area with a kitchen and wood stove, and a cozy corner. There is hot water and limited electricity (for lighting, radio, and refrigerator).

Access to the cabin is via a 12 km toll road.

The Wöllaner Nock offers numerous hiking opportunities for the whole family, and berry and mushroom enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy.

Here, you can enjoy nature undisturbed, as there is no mobile phone reception directly at the cabin. But don’t worry - after a short walk (10 minutes) to a nearby hill, you will be connected to the outside world again and can enjoy a wonderful view extending to the Julian Alps.
