About Us
Simply relax and feel great
Welcome to our farm Pührethof in St. Konrad! We invite all those to our organic farm who are looking for relaxation and a break in nature. Our farm has been run by our family for more than 250 years.
Our traditional four-sided farmyard is located in a quiet and sunny setting (635 m) right between the holiday destinations Salzkammergut and Almtal valley. It’s the ideal starting point for hikes around the many nearby lakes such as Almsee, the two Ödseen, Laudachsee, Traunsee and many more. The mountain cabins, alpine pastures and mountain peaks as well as the themed trail along the Alm river are just around the corner.
The beautiful lake for swimming in the village of St. Konrad is only a 10 minutes’ walk from our farm. A great outing for all ages.
On our organic farm, you can look forward to an ample organic breakfast with lots of locally grown produce. A good day starts with a good breakfast. We love taking the time to chat and tell you about our farm and our family.
At the end of the day, you can get together in the garden or in the guest kitchen.
For kids, there are plenty of things to discover in the barn where they can watch the cows being milked, feed the cows, pet the calves, cats and kittens and thus get a glimpse of modern farm life.
There’s plenty of space around the farm, a trampoline on the ground, go-karts, pedal cars, table tennis and much more.

- mountain Grünberg with cable car, treetop trail, motor skills park and summer toboggan run

On our organic farm, you can look forward to an ample organic breakfast with lots of locally grown produce. A good day starts with a good breakfast. We love taking the time to chat and tell you about our farm and our family.
At the end of an exciting day, you can get together, have a chat with your host family, learn about the traditions and drink a glass of home-made cider, fruit spirit or fruit brandy.
For kids, there are plenty of things to discover in the barn where they can watch the cows being milked, feed the cows, pet the calves, cats and kittens and thus get a glimpse of modern farm life.
Depending on the snow cover, you can go cross-country skiing, sleigh riding, ice skating or walk through pristine nature in snowshoes. A winter holiday at its best!
The family-friendly ski resort Kasberg in the Almtal valley is great for Alpine skiing. A activity for every fancy. Beginners or advanced skiers will find everything their heart desires. The ski resort at Kasberg is especially well suited for families. They not only find 40 km of perfectly groomed pistes but also a range of services and highlights (kids’ ski arena, fun park).

The Holzinger family
We have a large orchard! We use our fruit to produce cider, fruit spirits, jam and juice.
Our favourite drink at home is cider. It’s characteristic of our region. We press our own pears and apples and fill it in barrels to ferment. Cider is a delicious, refreshing drink that’s tasty with every snack platter.
We use our plums and pears to make fruit spirit (schnapps).
We make organic jam and juice with our own fruit that grow on our farm.
An organic breakfast for a good start of the day!
Our breakfast is composed of primarily organic products and other locally grown food. Fresh organic milk is milked from our cows twice a day. Organic butter and cheese is purchased from the local dairy “Vöckla-Käserei” where we deliver our milk. Sausages and cold cuts are bought from local butchers. Especially our young guests love the diversity of muesli and cereals with fresh milk or yoghurt as well as the array of organic jam. We serve different types of rolls and home-made organic bread. Our guests can choose from organic coffee, organic tea or organic milk and organic hot chocolate as well as different organic juices.
We are a grassland farm close to the mountains and we have only meadows where we keep dairy cows. The young female calves are raised according to demand. Children are allowed to help us in the barns and see close up how the milk is obtained with a great deal of love for the cows.
Our kittens love to be around children and also adults in the summer.
