About Us
Location: Set on a beautiful intermontane plateau above the village of Heiligenblut. Panoramic views of lofty peaks incl. the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. How to reach us: From the village of Heiligenblut it’s 6 km of asphalt and 3 km of gravel road, accessible by car.
Amenities: Large living/kitchen area, wood-fired stove, fridge, sink, 3 bedrooms (2 x double bed, 1 x bunk bed). Bathroom, toilet, shower with warm water, solar-powered lighting. Balcony, fenced garden area, mountain stream. Bed linen, towels and tea towels included.
Mountain cabin for rent from May to February.
Special features: Set on a beautiful intermontane plateau encircled by majestic 3,000 m peaks with plenty of space inside and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The icing on the cake: Stand on the balcony and take in the unspoilt view of Austria’s highest mountain, the Großglockner!
About Us
Winter holidays on the alpine pastures of Apriach is the excellent choice for anyone looking for peace, quiet and relaxation.
Go snowshoeing or tobogganing, build a snowman and drink a cup of hot tea in the cosy cabin afterwards.
Or join a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh through the snow-covered winter wonderland.
Snow chains are obligatory on the road up to the mountain cabin.
Mountain cabin for rent from May to February.
Our cows spend summer high up on the alpine pastures of the Hohe Tauern National Park. That’s where they find fine herbs and grass to feed on.
In autumn, when they give birth to their calves, they come back to the valley and to our farm Hirschenbauerhof.
