Our establishment is known for its friendly atmosphere, gorgeous view of the northern Kalkalpen, plenty of space for children to run around in, and cosy new holiday apartments. This is an old traditional farm, still fully working.

We have 14 dairy cows, numerous young oxen and bulls. Our younger guests can stroke our cats, rabbits, chicken and pot-bellied pigs.

When cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the Hausruck hills or cycling along on more than 2500 kilometres of trails through Hausruck Forest, enjoy the gentle hills and peaceful valleys and simply leave all of your cares behind.

Floodplain forest landscapes rich in fauna as well as untouched nature reserves and many cultural sites with hospitable locals, surrounded by lush meadows and vast forests are simply perfect for visiting one of the many farmhouses offering traditional fare typical of the Hausruck region.

But you can also enjoy a real family holiday riding a horse, thanks to one of our many horse riding paradises. We have several slow trains in the area that are great for hobby train drivers and old-time railway enthusiasts.

But perhaps the biggest attraction is the Frankenburg Dice Game. In 1625 the farmers lives were at stake here because of their beliefs and the revolt against paying tithes.
