About Us
“This is a place where families don’t just stay, but where they feel at home.” Our horse farm is located in the heart of the sunny province of Carinthia, only 2.5 km from the town of Feldkirchen and with a breathtaking view of the mountains and Lake Ossiacher See! On our Icelandic horse farm, every adult, teen and child will find the perfect horse! Trainings: horse riding instructor, academically qualified teacher, master of agriculture and forestry Look forward to horse-riding lessons for beginners and intermediate riders on our paddock or in the 200 m oval plus great group rides with Birgit or another one of our trained instructors. Highlights: a family group ride and a ride to Lake Maltschersee where you can go swimming. Horse riding primarily on our own premises or on marked trails for trail riding. We built a new riding hall in 2011! We offer our guests: Icelandic horse farm with approx. 40 Icelandic horses, establishment with a focus on horse-riding camps and sports weeks for teens, horse-riding on Shetland ponies for our small guests (2-6 years). FOR FREE: Private beach and lawn at Lake Maltschachersee.

We are a nationally and internationally accredited horse stud farm with our approved stallion “Muskur”. We breed Icelandic horses as part of the Austrian Icelandic Horses Breeding Association (“ÖIZV”).
About Us
We have special New Year’s Eve deals incl. night walks with torches and New Year’s Eve menu on request. Guests who’d like to spend Christmas on our farm are welcome to choose their own Christmas tree from our forest.
In winter, we focus on riding on weekends and during Christmas holidays.
We ride primarily in our 20 x 40 m riding hall. If there’s good snow cover and the weather is fine, it’s possible to go out for a ride in the snow-covered forest. Our horse riding options are organised depending on the demand.
We attach great importance to spending New Year’s Eve in silence. We don’t make fireworks because it would scare the horses and other animals on the farm and in the forest!
At our breakfast buffet, you’ll find lots of products from our own farm and from local farmers. For our guests who spend a self-catering holiday in our holiday apartments, we offer the following products: wine, fruit spirits, eggs, milk.
Apart from our 60 Icelandic horses, we have two dwarf donkeys called Lilly and Ilvie, three Shetland ponies, our dog “Ronja”, our cats “Phoebe”, “Minka” and “Simba”, a lot of rabbits and guinea pigs, dwarf goats and alpacas that you can feed and pet. The animals live in two separate fenced areas, one for the rabbits and guinea pigs and one for the dwarf goats and alpacas. They are looking forward to getting a bit of tender loving care. Every morning and evening, the children can take care of the animals and look after them.
