We create a space in the countryside for soothing, invigorating emotions. A space to organise a quiet, active time with yourself and your family. We also offer you a get-together in the farmhouse parlour.
At Landhaus Berthold you stay in renovated flats (50 to 80m²) with baby and toddler-friendly facilitiesand bread roll service on a sunny south-facing slope and within walking distance of the village centre.
You will enjoy plenty of space in the garden with a new playground including barbecue facilities and a cosmopolitan, open-minded, experienced hostess with a heart who loves travelling herself.
Experience the special feeling of being carried on the back of a horse on a mountain farm with suckler cow husbandry and Haflinger breeding.
Make your holiday sustainable and car-free with the excellent public transport network in Vorarlberg and the Montafon. We offer you a free transfer from Schruns railway station when you arrive by train.

We create a space in the countryside for soothing, invigorating emotions. A space where you can spend quiet, active time with yourself and your family. Consciously spend time together.
At Landhaus Berthold you stay in renovated flats (50 to 80m²) with baby and toddler-friendly facilitiesand bread roll service on a sunny south-facing slope and within walking distance of the village centre and ski lift. The ski piste leads you directly to Landhaus Berthold.
There are a total offive ski areas with a total of 298 kilometres of pistes and 73 cable cars and lifts to choose from in the Montafon winter sports paradise!
You will find plenty of space in the garden with a fire pit. Above all, however, you will find a cosmopolitan, open-minded, experienced hostess with a heart who loves travelling herself.
You can experience the special feeling of being carried on the back of a horse on our mountain farm with suckler cow husbandry and Haflinger breeding.
Make your holiday sustainable and car-free with the excellent public transport network in Vorarlberg and the Montafon. We offer you a free transfer from Schruns railway station when you arrive by train.
The Montafon Tourist Board offers a wide range of special offers for families. For example, you can look forward to (sports) programmes in which your children can participate free of charge under expert supervision.
We offer you organic beef from our own suckler cows directly from the farm.
You are also welcome to use our bread roll service for fresh bread and pastries from the local bakery on your breakfast table.
There are also farm shops and farm shops in the neighbourhood for your regional culinary delights. You can also get all other products for your daily needs in the town centre, which is within walking distance.
Mrs Kloiber, Goldi, Struppi, Hagritt, Emma, Sara, Java, Paluten, Arthur, Almdudler. These are the cows and their calves, which are kept as suckler cows over the winter at Landhaus Berthold. In May, the animals move to the farm's own Maisäss Buchen in Silbertal (Innerbuchen). The animals spend the summer on the Alpe Rona in Brandnertal and on the Alpe Fresch near Litzursprung in Silbertal in Montafon.
The sweet pony Candy and the well-behaved Haflinger mare Ronja stay with us at Landhaus Berthold in Schruns all year round. Have you ever experienced what it feels like to sit on a horse? Guided pony rides are available for children. And since autumn 2022, the adorable Haflinger foal Cindy has been everyone's favourite and is looked after with great joy and above all by our own children.
By the way! The Maisäss Buchen - THE ALMHÜTTE IM MONTAFON - can also be hired in summer.
