About Us
Welcome to our Manghof in the heart of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. Our farm already looks back on a long history and is therefore under monumental protection. Since 1833 the winegrowing estate has been in our family estate. In 2005 we started to rebuild the house with much love for detail. Since 2007 we have been able to welcome guests from all over the world from Easter to the beginning of November. In our three double rooms as well as in our holiday flat you can enjoy your well-deserved vacation. As a good start to the day we serve you a breakfast buffet with a variety of sausages and cheese, bread and pastries from the local baker, homemade jams and spreads, muesli, yoghurt and our own grape juice. Discover the sights and culinary delights of the Lower Austrian Danube region and the Waldviertel! The new World Heritage trail offers numerous hiking opportunities and the Danube cycle path is also a great way to explore our wine region. We are looking forward to your visit! A vineyard area of about 6 ha. As a member of Vinea Wachau we offer our wines in the varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling in the quality grades Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd. From the Zweigelt variety of grapes we produce Zweigelt or Zweigelt Rosé. White and red grape juice are available as alcohol-free alternatives.
Our two domestic cats, Toni and Minka, will welcome you on our farm. In the rabbit hutch (in the inner courtyard) live our rabbits, which can be fed with pleasure.
