Marhütte Tschiernock

Location: Alpine pasture with wide panoramic views, on the edge of an historical alpine hut village.
Arriving: 10 km from Eisentratten, of which 7 km is gravel road.
Facilities: Old chalet, living room with masonry wood-burning stove, dining table, couch, kitchen sink with cold running water, larder. A single room on the ground floor, two bedrooms (3 + 2 beds) accessible via the staircase. Shower, WC. Solar powered lighting and radio. Spring in front of the cabin. Al fresco seating.
Rental period: May to November.
The special features: This is a cabin for 'lofty people', who want to be really high up as the cabin lies at an altitude of 1,700 m. The Marhütte cabin is a part of the alpine log village from ancient times, when all of the cabins were still in operation.
