About Us
The smell of freshly mown hay in the air, sleeping in pine beds, enjoying mild summer evenings on the terrace, children playing in the farmyard and petting the animals, leisure activities with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard – your holiday in the Menthof holiday apartment in Assach, a luxurious, 110m² holiday apartment in the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Our modern farm is situated very centrally in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region in the middle of the idyllic village of Assach. In just five minutes' drive, you can reach the easternmost entry point to the Schladming 4-Berge-Skischaukel of Hauser Kaibling, a mountain in the Ski amadé ski region. The Menthof holiday apartment is the ideal starting point for your winter holiday but also for countless activities and experiences during your summer holiday, such as the Aicher recreation lake, which is only 2km away.
The holiday apartment has room for ten guests – ideal for a large family or families travelling together. It has one double bedroom and two 3-bed rooms, each with a shower and WC. The three bedrooms are equipped with a flatscreen satellite TV and solid pine furniture, guaranteeing you a relaxing and healthy sleep. In the large living room/kitchen, there is plenty of space at the free-standing dining table for all ten guests. The large panorama window allows wonderful views out over the Schladminger Tauern as well as over the farmyard, so you can keep an eye on the children at play.
The living room has a pull-out sofa bed, which can also sleep up to 2 guests, and has a separate WC for this purpose.
The living room is also furnished in pine and exudes a pleasant ambiance. with a large flatscreen TV.
In summer, the Menthof holiday apartment is the ideal starting point for your action-filled hiking, biking or relaxation holiday. The Ennradweg R7 cycling path is only 2 minutes' cycling away and mountain bike tours go right past the house.
The Menthof holiday apartment is a partner of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, with more than 100 top attractions and price reductions of up to 50% on over 100 bonus services. This premium holiday card is available to guests even after only one night's stay at our farm. Of course, your child will receive his/her own KidsCard – and all your holiday dreams can come true! Free of charge for you: toll roads, cableways, swimming lakes, swimming pools, and much more.
A cosy guest terrace with a view invites you to relax. In general, our large farm offers plenty of space for your children to run around and play. Everyone is also welcome in the barn. Children can feed and stroke our petting animals in their own stable. The locked guest garage for 2 cars is included in the price! New since autumn 2023: E-charging station for your E-AUTO!

About Us
Assach is only 5 minutes' drive away from the 4-Berge-Skischaukel area.
You can either drive to the Hauser Kaibling (with a guaranteed park place), or you can use the free ski bus, which goes directly to the house. If there is enough snow cover, the starting point for the cross-country ski trails is only 2 minutes away by car. The Ramsau with the northern Eldorado includes 220 km of cross-country ski trails and is only 15 minutes away by car.
Action and fun can be found on the toboggan runs in the surrounding mountains, including the Galsterbergalm and the Hochwurzen. If your kids are not yet tired out from skiing, they can build a snowman in the yard or go sledding. Once a week we have a curling competition for our guests. We invite you to join us!
Milk, schnapps
Our guests are very welcome in our barn. Since our cows are fed by means of feeding machines, we ask that you tell us in advance that you want to visit. We'll be happy to take you there. You can, of course, visit the petting animals anytime. Rabbits, calves and cats all look forward to being stroked!
