About Us
Welcome!
In the small town of Kernhof in the parish of St Aegyd am Neuwalde, our farm can be found around 1 km outside of the town centre in a valley. Surrounded by meadows, forests and mountains, we would like to invite you to be our guest. Relax and unwind from your day in this quiet, fog free zone.
Kernhof is in the Traisen Valley - cycleway, as well as the Via Sacra. Our farm is the perfect starting point for short hikes - to the waterfall or to Herzerl Mitzi as well as for longer walks - to Gippel, Göller or Hofalm.
For those who like bathingthere's the Göller baths on hot summer days in St Aegyd to offer refreshment. A short excursion into the Mariazeller countryside to the Erlauf sea is always a relaxing experience.
We looking forward to seeing you,
Fam. Sommerauer

We mostly rear cattle of the simmental breed on our organically run farm. These are milked twice a day. We deliver the milk to a local dairy but some people pick it up from us themselves.
