About Us
Our chalets are beautifully located in a south-western standalone location on the Zirbitzkogel mountain.
We offer two chalets (“Godi’s Hütte” and “Susanna’s Hütte”). Both are self-catering huts. This means you can either prepare your own meals or decide for the more relaxed option and enjoy the various restaurants in the region.
Our chalets are perfectly suited for nature lovers. Because of their location our in deer enclosures, guests can watch our deer or take photos, or simply relax and enjoy nature.
About Us
Winter must be the best time for a vacation in a chalet! Get warmed by the fireplace inside the chalet while it’s snowing outside. Our huts are the perfect starting point for ski tours on the Zirbitzkogel mountain (2396m above sea level). The nearby skiing area “Tonnerhütte” provides slopes for the whole family, and is only 1.5km away. Further skiing resorts are:
· Grebenzen (25km
· Frauenalpe Murau (40km)
· Kreischberg (40km)
· Klipitzthörl (20km)
Snowshoeing is another option to enjoy the beautiful winter landscape. Furthermore, the archery course is open all year round. Furthermore, we recommend cooling yourself of in the snow after a relaxing sauna session.
We offer our guests the unique opportunity to fish carp, chars or trout for dinner. Fishing supplies will be provided.
Moreover, you can have quail’s eggs from spring to autumn. On request, we can provide you with other typical farm products, like milk, cheese, sausages and ham from farmers nearby.
Our speciality is deer. There are boars, deer and mouflon in our enclosure. Furthermore, we have a dog and a cat, as well as pigeons, quails, falcons and hawks on our farm.
We specialize in game; there are wild boars in our enclosures (of course you will not come into direct contact with them) fallow deer and mouflons. A dog and cats shouldn't be missing on our farm either. There are also pigeons, quails and, since 2013, falcons and hawks.
