About Us
Our organic farm is situated in the middle of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature park, in a sunny, quiet location, with beautiful views of the Zirbitz. Those wanting to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, are in the right place here with us. Successfully escape everyday life and find time for yourself and your dear ones. Holidays at Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature park - a step closer to nature: Breathe the country air, observe animals, smell herbs in the garden, take hikes through the beautiful natural landscape, and feel creation in places of power. Children feel very happy with us, and you won't get bored either. All around the house are forests and meadows to run around in, right by the house is the petting zoo with the pygmy goats and the pot-bellied pig "Rudi", help with barn chores, or jump in the hay - children will love all of this. When the weather is bad, it's off to the playroom where many toys can be found. The surrounding area features a golf course, tennis court, summer toboggan run, riding stable, minigolf course, outdoor swimming pool, and a swimming lake.
About Us
Our holiday home is situated amidst the Naturpark Zirbitzkogel - Grebenzen at an altitude of 970 m, surrounded by snow-covered meadows and forests. Our Alte Schmiede ('old forge') is easily reached by car even in snowy weather - 1 km flat access from the Bundesstraße – a "Carboard" will protectyour cars from snow and icy windows, and you can get to the Schmiede comfortably.After exploring around the house on the walking and hiking trails from 8 am – 4 pm when the winter sun is out, you can warm yourself up by the tiled stove and enjoy the cosy cabin atmosphere at the Alten Schmiede. Those who would like to do something healthy can simply switch on the infrared cubicle while they prepare a small snack in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped! Neumarkt offers some shopping opportunities, just 5 minutes' drive away. For those interested, there is also a great natural park programme!
Inwinter you can go skiing, tobogganing, ice skating, curling, touring on the alpine pastures andcross-country skiing. The nearest ski region of St. Lambrecht-Grebenzen is 15 minutes away by car, but there are another 2 ski region within a radius of 20 km - Kreischberg and Lachtal.
The adventure world of the farm is great for children and adults.
We are an organic farm with suckler cow husbandry, where cows are not kept for dairy, but for beef production. The cows have the wonderful opportunity to spend their HOLIDAYS ON THE ALPINE PASTURE. Here, children and adults can experience life and work on the farm. We have many animals to love. Pot-bellied pig "Rudi", rabbits, cats, goats, chickens, horse, and our dog "Magnus" are very happy to be petted and fed.
