About Us
We have been running our small organic farm and hosting guests at our Oberhaidbachhof for generations. We are a dairy farm and look after around 14 head of cattle, heifers and calves of the beautiful "Pinzgauer" breed. Our organic farm is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park nature paradise. Surrounded by flower meadows, mountains and forests, we are only 3 km from the centre of Mittersill. The house and farm are situated on a small hill, not far from the famous Felbertauern road in the beautiful Felbertal valley.
In 2017, our family decided to demolish the old part of the farmhouse and build a new one by hand. Our flat with a view of Mittersill's local mountain, the Zwölferkogel (2,435 m), was completely refurnished by the landlord himself with great attention to detail and has everything a holidaymaker's heart desires.
In winter we have a separate room with ski boot dryer for our guests.
In summer, you can sit outside and have a barbecue.
The children can play to their heart's content on the play tower with slide, in the sandpit or on the 2 swings and let off steam. You are also welcome to visit our cows, chickens, cats and the farm rabbit "Anna" in the stable.
I look forward to you looking over my shoulder as I work in the large farm garden. Depending on the season, you can pick some healthy, naturally organic snacks such as radishes, carrots, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. The National Park Summer Card, which has become very popular with our guests, is included in the price and invites you to a new adventure every day (most of them even free of charge!).
We look forward to your visit!

About Us
Our organic farm is situated on a small hill. So all you have to do is get dressed and the winter fun can begin! Whether with sledges, bobsleighs or tube slides, the "local mountain" makes children's hearts beat faster and there is no shortage of fun. Wonderful winter hikes, building snowmen, cross-country skiing, ice skating and of course skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed here in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park! Let yourself be enchanted and enjoy an unforgettable winter holiday.
Our cockerel "Kikeriki Lump" is a real early riser. He loves to crow at half past three in the morning and doesn't let our chickens sleep in ;o) But as the saying goes: the early bird catches the worm. For us it's more like: the early bird is rewarded with a breakfast egg. So come with us on an egg hunt and hopefully you'll be rewarded with the best organic free-range egg you've ever eaten. =)
Our farm is home to cows, heifers and calves of the Pinzgau breed with horns! They are milked twice a day and spend the day on the pastures around our farmhouse when the weather is fine.
In summer, they then take a well-deserved holiday on the Rossalm in the Hollersbachtal valley. So it's a little quieter in July and August. But chickens, rabbits and of course cats are always out and about on our farm. The cats Moni and Minky are especially happy to be petted! The pride of our two daughters are their quails! 6 of them can even be stroked and spoil us and our guests with their delicious eggs.
