About Us
We, the Kröll Family, are pleased to welcome you to our Oberhaushof!
Our organic farm is located in the middle of Hohe Tauern National Park. Enjoy the idyllic and peaceful setting, far removed from the stresses of daily life. Rediscover a sense of inner harmony as you spend a recuperative holiday with your whole family.
We built a new farmhouse from 2012 – 2014, since when we have been renting out holiday apartments which we have furnished with loving attention to every detail. From our apartments, you are able to enjoy breathtaking views of Mittersill, the Kitzbühel Alps and the Salzach River Valley. Our farm stands on a hilltop roughly 1 km outside of Mittersill.
Activities in Summer
Always worth the trip:
- Hintersee – Felbertal: approximately 5 km away
- Pinzgau steam train - Allow this old steam locomotive to take you through the Salzach Valley past an array of interesting sights.
- National Park Center
- Krimml Waterfalls, the biggest in Europe
- Schößwendklamm gorge hiking path
Biking:
- Tauern Bike Path
- Bicycle or E-bike rental from Sport Breitfuß, valley station of the Panoramabahn lift, Sporthotel Kogler
- Explore the many surrounding valleys by E-BIKE.
Many Theme Hiking Paths:
- Stream Path in Hollersbachtal, with refreshments at the Sennigerbräualm
- Bee Path, with refreshments at the Oberkrammern-Alm
- Hollersbach Herb Garden
- Emerald Path in Habachtal - hunting for precious stones
Many mountain lifts also offering bike & E-bike transportation:
- Panoramabahn Kitzbühel Alps – Hollersbach
- Smaragdbahn Bramberg – go-cart course for kids
- Wildkogelbahnen Neukirchen – slide path

Our main focus is on dairy farming, which we have operated in accordance with organic guidelines since 1991.
Our cowshed is home to 15 Fleckvieh cows, which we milk twice a day. The milk is delivered to Pinzgau Milch in Maishofen.
Our young cattle and calves always enjoy visits from the youngsters. Since May 2020, we also have 6 hens and 2 Silkies living with us here at the farm.
Especially our dog, Luna, loves to be petted by adults and children alike. You can count on receiving an affectionate welcome from Luna when you arrive at the farm. A few cats likewise playfully stalk our farm and never say no to a few treats!
