About Us
Welcome to the Obersteffengut
High up in the mountains, surrounded by lush meadows, green forests and towering mountains, lies our house, the Obersteffengut, in a quiet and idyllic setting. Here you can still enjoy the peace and quiet that can otherwise only be admired in pictures. With a magnificent view of the valley, the mountains and the sky that seems so close.
There are only 2 apartments on the farm, so it is perfect for 2 families who want to spend their holidays together, but still want to have separate rooms. But also for a single family, the farm is very well situated, as you can switch off and enjoy your peace and quiet here.
Summer holiday at Obersteffengut
Running around, jumping on the trampoline, barbecuing together and enjoying the sun's rays. In our garden you can let your soul dangle while the children run around on the meadow.
There are countless hikes for beginners and advanced hikers in the surrounding area. Cyclists can also enjoy a leisurely bike ride or a mountain bike tour.
A special highlight for children is the "Wagrainis Grafenberg". Lots of play stations and an adventure trail await young and old on the adventure mountain.
Those who prefer to get into the cool water can linger in the countless natural lakes in the area. Be it in the Eben bathing lake, the Reitecksee, the Daarmoossee reservoir or the emerald-green Jägersee. Bathing with a magnificent natural backdrop!
Winter holiday at Obersteffengut
Winter on the Obersteffengut has a lot to offer. Above all, snow-covered fields and peaks and, of course, plenty of space for the children. After about 10 minutes by car you can reach the surrounding valley stations "Rote 8er", "Grafenberg" or "Flying Mozart". As our cows are on the alpine pasture in summer, we can only offer fresh milk from our cows in winter. In winter, snow chains may be required for access!
In summer and winter, you can enjoy daily FREE entry to the Wasserwelt Wagrain, which is only a 10-minute drive away, with your guest card.

- Eggs from our own hens
Our cats and chickens live on the farm. They are all happy to be stroked once or twice a day. The cows are in Hüttschlag on the Hubalm from mid-June to the end of September, where you can visit them. A small number of them stay with us in the meadow. In autumn/winter, they are all back in the meadow or in the stable.
