About Us
Neukirchen am Grossvenediger (elev. 856 m) is an El Dorado for winter holidaymakers. The region has a lot to offer young families, as well as piste addicts and lovers of winter romance. Endless ski slopes – snowy until springtime – and magnificent panoramic views as far as the eye can see promise an extraordinary experience. Plus lots of variety in addition to the classic winter sports. For example, carriage rides through the snowy countryside and mystical hikes by torchlight. Neukirchen makes the winter dreams of big and small come true.
Wildkogel Ski Arena lies in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps, easy to reach without any road tolls to pay. The Wildkogel treats you to extraordinary views of the 3000 m peaks inside Hohe Tauern National Park as well as the Grossvenediger (3674 m). Many people feel this is the most beautiful lookout mountain in Oberpinzgau. Wildkogel Ski Arena offers magical conditions from December until April for families, skiers, borders, carvers and deep-snow specialists. And there’s good reason Wildkogel Ski Arena is known as "the friendliest ski area in Austria". The Ski Arena boasts yet another highlight: probably the world’s longest sled run. Furthermore, the entire length of this run is illuminated until 10 PM - adding an extra kick to your nighttime activities.
