About Us
WELCOME to "Örglwirt's Gut" in the SUNNY Mariapfarr!
HOLIDAYS ON THE FARM WITH RENOWNED GUARANTEE OF SUN in the salzburger Lungau region!
The sunniest area in Austria - Mariapfarr - is in the Lungau holiday region in the southernmost area of the state of Salzburg at an altitude of 1,120 m. On the southern edge of town with wonderful long views, surrounded by green pastures and right next to the public swimming pool and the vitality and spa centre "Samsunn", you will find our very cosy FAMILY APARTMENTS "ÖRGLWIRT'S GUT".
After only a 1-minute walk you are already at our mini farm, where you can greet our horses, ponies, sheep, chickens, cats and pygmy goats. The barns are approx. 50 m away from the apartments, so there are no bad smells!
Our holiday complex is in a completely peaceful and traffic-free location. Still, the town centre with shops is only a minute away, and the "Gesund und Fit Hotel Post Örglwirt" partner hotel is only 2 minutes away on foot. Plenty of green areas inside the holiday complex, a romantic BBQ cabin (for hire) and a garden BBQ area available to you.
A special attraction:"ÖRGI'S KINDERWELT": Our eventful approx. 1,000 m² adventure playground with fish pond (where we fish with our guests once a week). Everything a child could dream for is available here: birds' nest basket swing, mine with crawling tunnel, climbing walls for older and younger kids, Tarzan zipline, crow's nest look-out tower with slide, rope ladder and sliding pole, children's see-saw and trampoline.
When the weather is bad, the children's playroom "PUMUCKELSTUBE" with slide, Wild West-style fort, bouncing toys, motorcycle swing, and table football in the main house awaits our younger guests.
We offer the family apartment either without meals, with BREAKFAST or HALF BOARD (from 3 days) in the partner hotel.

We have dwarf goats which love to be petted, sheep - Suffolk and Jura, ponies and horses, and chicken - Sussex and Sperber which lay up to 6 eggs per day for your perfect farm breakfast.
