About Us
Dream with us in our holiday flats, newly built in 2021 and furnished to a high standard. We will whisk you away to a place of blissful tranquillity. Our Panoramahof Bergglück is enthroned like an eagle's nest 200 metres above Mellau.
Enjoy the tranquillity of the wonderful natural surroundings, be enchanted by the dreamlike panorama, the smell of fresh hay and mountain flowers. In summer, when the animals graze on the pasture with their bells ringing, you can feel that unique alpine feeling that we love. Pure mountain happiness.
From 1 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card is included for stays of three nights or more: the card for free mountain railway rides to panoramic heights, refreshing and relaxing visits to the outdoor pool and environmentally friendly journeys on public buses. It is valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure. Experience your own personal mountain bliss.
Hiking and cycling from easy to challenging. With a variety of refreshment stops. Or a refreshing dip in the mountain stream or in the outdoor pool right in the village? All in the immediate vicinity of Panoramahof Bergglück.
Where the rolling hills of the Bregenzerwald merge into the imposing mountain scenery, we are at home. A place surrounded by dense forests and lush meadows. Here, nature and its surroundings will amaze you and enchant your senses. We are the perfect place to round off an eventful day.
For the grown-ups on a deckchair in our spacious garden. And in the evening you can enjoy the view of the twinkling starry sky ... For the little ones there is plenty of space around the farm to run around and play - there is a playground, numerous vehicles and a separate playroom in the house. The animals love to be spoilt by the children.
The Bregenzerwald with its many facets is an ideal starting point for numerous sporting, culinary and cultural excursions at any time of year and in any weather - for young and old. The blossoms in spring or the picturesque autumn will inspire you.

Do you love winter and its white splendour as much as we do? For us, winter means cosiness and coming to rest. But the clear, refreshing mountain air lures you outdoors to go skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking or simply to enjoy the mountain sunshine and experience your own personal mountain happiness.
Snow-sure ski areas are just a stone's throw away. With the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald, Mellau-Damüls, as well as cross-country ski trails directly in the village and the neighbouring villages, our Panoramahof Bergglück is the ideal starting point for your winter fun. Austria's largest ski area Ski Arlberg with 300 kilometres of pistes offers further winter sports at its finest.
You'll love watching your children busily building a snowman or hurtling down the hills around the house on a toboggan. We are happy to provide sledges, bobsleighs, various toboggans and snowshoes free of charge.
During a picturesque horse-drawn carriage ride through the freshly snow-covered winter landscape or a romantic torch-lit hike, you will forget the time.

Enjoy the following products directly from the farm during your stay or afterwards at home:
- various meat and sausage products from our own Scottish Highland cattle
- Eggs from our free-range chickens
- Depending on the season, we grow lettuce, courgettes, pumpkins, radishes and herbs in the raised bed. Help yourself (free of charge) to your heart's content.
- Fresh milk from the neighbouring farm
- Cheese from the neighbouring dairies
Let us spoil you with our bread roll service! Fresh bread rolls and pastries for breakfast right outside your flat door.
In the nearby village centre there are local suppliers with regional delicacies and shops with everyday necessities.

Our Scottish Highland cattle with their long coats love to be out on the mountain pastures around the farm at any time of year. In winter, they are fed wonderfully fragrant hay in the barn. The mother cows calve unaided. The cute little calves with their shaggy fur are then reared naturally on the udder of the mother cow as part of suckler cow husbandry.
With us, they not only moo, but also mow, bleat, cluck and meow. You can pet our black-nosed sheep at any time, feed our goats, nibble the eggs of our happy free-range chickens and the rooster, cuddle the cats and spoil the dwarf rabbits.
Children - and adults too, of course - are welcome to help out in the barn and with the work on the mountain meadows. Our stable doors are always open. Enjoy your holiday in a family atmosphere with your hosts Daniela, Maximilian and David (3).
Ibex and chamois can be spotted in quiet hours at the nearby Kanisfluh.
